Baptisms

Baptism is a ceremony through which a child or adult is received into membership of the Church of God.  It is a personal and public identification with Jesus Christ.

A baptism may take place within one of our regular Sunday services or at a time agreed upon with the Rector.

If you would like to enquire about baptism at St Peter’s, please contact Rev’d Mark on 0401 289 919 or at rector@stpeterscremorne.org.au

Weddings

When a couple comes to be married in the Church, it should mean that they desire the blessing of God on their marriage and that they want to begin their life together in God’s sight and God’s presence. Weddings at St Peter’s use the Rites of the Anglican Church, a Christian service reflecting the joy and dignity of the occasion.

If you would like to discuss having your wedding at St Peter’s, please contact Rev’d Mark at rector@stpeterscremorne.org.au or on 0401 289 919.

Funerals

The funeral service will follow Anglican custom funeral rites with several options. You may decide to have a service in church followed by the burial in a cemetery, a service in church followed by a brief service of committal at the crematorium, or a service in church which includes the prayers of committal and with no religious rite at the crematorium.

If you wish to arrange a funeral at St Peter’s, please ring the Rev’d Mark on 0401 289 919. Otherwise you may ask the funeral director to make the initial contact with him.
